Enterprise Portal (Term Defined)

An enterprise portal is the framework by which a website integrates its information into its web site. The enterprise portal provides a secure access point by which the content manager can control that information. One such type of information can be news feeds. RediNews provides RSS news feeds for free, but some other types of content are only available to a content manager on a licensed basis. Ticker Technologies is the content provider for the licensed stock quotes and charts found on RediNews, and provides these tools via a javascript content delivery system. They also offer iframe content delivery. These options make integration of the licensed content a simple turn-key copy and paste of a line of HTML code, and then a bill for the licensed content appears in the mail each month. Go to or call 1-866-515-2082 for more information about licensing content for your enterprise portal.
